Remembrance Day 2014 By mardenscouts on 19th October 2014 (updated 26th January 2015) In News / 0 comments This years’ service will be held on Sunday 9th November at St. Michael & All Angels Church in Marden. We will meet at the Scout HQ at 10:20 and all members need to wear full uniform (with a poppy) ensuring they are as smart as possible (ironed scarves & shiny shoes!). We will then parade to the church where the service will commence at 10.50am and will last for approximately 1hour, during which a collection will be taken for the Royal British Legion. As a Group we ask all Leaders, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers to attend Marden’s Remembrance Service to remember and pay our respects to all those who have given their lives while doing their duty.
